Employer: PACTBuild
Position type: Contract – part-time

Deadline Unknown. Please contact PACT for further details.

PACT designs and delivers a whole range of accessible life and job skills training programs offered at no cost to at-risk and underserved youth in areas such as cooking, film, fashion and urban agriculture.

Currently, we are seeking a Lead Instructor for our PACTBuild program. The candidate must have the appropriate leadership skills and experience (minimum five years) in the trades to lead this wall finishing and painting program.

The position is part-time and contractual, running on most Saturdays for five hours a week out of our fully equipped training studio in South Etobicoke. The main focus of this role is to provide professional instruction in all facets of wall finishing (plastering, patching, cutting, painting and maintaining a clean and safe work environment) to our youth participants aged 16-21 and will be supported by a program coordinator who will handle most of the administrative duties.

As we already know that you all share our values, we are sending you this email to request that you share this opportunity and JOB POSTING HERE with your networks hoping you might know someone with the required experience in wall finishing who also ideally has some experience teaching and working with youth populations. We are looking to fill this position ASAP.

Interested candidates can learn more about PACT and our Build program on our website HERE.
