JOB READINESS PROGRAM FOR IMMIGRANT AND REFUGEE WOMEN JAN 22 – FEB 1

 

The Women Gaining Ground Job Readiness program will be running from January 22nd to February 1st 2018, location at 41 Chauncey Avenue.

The program is geared to newcomer, refugee and immigrant women who are seeking employment or just starting to consider pursuing a new career.

Women Gaining Ground

Women Gaining Ground is an integrated 2-week employment readiness program designed to equip newcomer refugee and immigrant women, who are unemployed and face multiple barriers with the essential tools, knowledge and training to help them gain employment and develop lifelong empowerment.

Program Start Date:

Orientation Day: Friday January 19, 2018 from 10:00am – 12:00pm (NEXT FRIDAY!)
Monday January 22, – Thursday February 1, 2018
Four days per week (Monday – Thursday)
Location: 41 Chauncey Ave. (just west of Islington and south of Bloor St., 15 minute walk from Islington subway station)
10am – 2:30pm
