Skills for Change & St. Stephen’s Community House in partnership with the City of Toronto are hosting an event designed to prepare job seekers with police records for employment success.

Participants will learn strategies for finding employment and how to make a great first impression, including:

Interview techniques to reframe their story in a positive manner
How and when to apply for a record suspension (formerly a pardon)
Skills that employers value most in an ideal candidate
How to resolve workplace conflict and maintain employment
Details about upcoming events in Toronto
Participants also may receive hands on support with resume and job fair preparation
